Through my studies at the university I was fortunate to be one of six 2014 Huayu Enrichment Scholarship recipients at the University of Calgary for the Summer Months (July-August). The scholarship is meant to encourage international students and individuals to study Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan.
Spring Research in Brazil
For the past four years I have studied Latin American political and social issues and now have an amazing opportunity through Bishop's University of learning how a social movement in Brazil is helping the poor overcome this issue of not having a place to call home.
